We need to determine who we have and what resources we can gather.
First we need to know who wants to help, and create different roles for that day. Then we can break the forums up by roles then everyone can organize their particular roles.
For example we need an HQ along the route (towards the end). We need people to hold a spot, and make a great party place for everybody to get together and enjoy the parade after all the other jobs are finished. Wouldn't it be awesome if HQ could be a block long with everybodies' families, and have it all decked out with signs and such.
We need Canvassers, people who will walk the route talking to people in groups of 2.
SlimJimmers, people who just walk the entire route ensuring every car gets something Ron Paulish.
We need money =) please all independently wealthy people donate to the effort!

I don't know where to post this, but I have a suggestion as far as what to say on the koozies. I really don't think you need a New Orleans-specific slimjim, just make the koozies, they'll do much better. As far as the slimjims, I would go with the liberal-type student slimjims. Anyway, here's my suggestion:
